FAQ

Q. The fishing line is too long

A. The fishing line is intentionally made extra long to give you flexibility based on your pet’s play style and environment. Once the wand is fully extended, you can trim the line to your preferred length using scissors. *Please note: once cut, the line cannot be extended or replaced.

Q. Can I replace the fishing line?

A. The fishing line is not replaceable or extendable. We recommend adjusting the length carefully to best suit your needs.

Q. Is the light safe for my cat’s eyes?

A. Yes. Unlike laser pointer, this product uses a standard red LED lightㅡcommonly regarded as the least straining on the eyes. Still, avoid direct prolonged exposure to the eyes at close range.

Q. Can I charge it using the solar panel and USB at the same time?

A. Yes. Simultaneous charging with the solar panel and USB-C cable is safe. However, doing so will not significantly increase the charging speed.

Q. Does electricity run through the entire rod and cable? My cat drools a lot, and I’m worried about the risk of electric shock.

A. No worries—our product is designed with safety in mind. The light is emitted from a small bulb inside the handle and transmitted through a fiber optic cable. There is no electricity running through the cable itself, so even if your cat bites or drools on it, there is no risk of electric shock. It’s completely safe for play.

Caution

– Do not apply excessive force when stripping the outer coating, as this may scratch or weaken the transparent core. Always strip the coating gently and carefully.

– The exposed transparent core should measure between 0.5–1 cm. If overexposed or scratched, the core may break upon impact with hard surfaces like the floor or furniture during play.

– If the transparent core breaks, the exposed edge may become sharp—handle with caution.

– After stripping, always check the ends of the core by gently touching them with your finger to ensure there are no cracks or breakage. Only begin play if the core is fully intact.

– Before each play session, inspect the end of the string for any sharp edges. If you find any sharp points, trim the cable with scissors and re-strip the coating before use.

– Never allow your cat to play with a sharp or broken string, as it may cause injury.

– Although the fishing line is made from durable material, some cats may bite or chew through it. Always supervise your cat during play and ensure they do not swallow the string or core.

– After use, store the toy safely out of your cat’s reach.

– If your cat accidentally swallows any part of the fishing line or transparent core, seek veterinary care immediately.
